Quality & Colour

A clear approval point before production.

Good print quality starts with a shared reference. Macrofast’s sampling and approval workflow gives buyers a physical strike-off to review, supported by calibrated colour management and in-house quality checks.

Quality & Colour

Start with an agreed colour reference

Colour appearance depends on the artwork, fabric, print route and viewing conditions. Share any approved colour references and the exact fabric specification at the outset. Calibrated colour management helps translate the approved artwork and reference into a controlled print setup; it does not remove the influence of a different substrate or finishing route.

Where colour is critical, evaluate a physical sample on the intended material and under the buyer’s agreed review conditions. A screen image or a sample on another fabric is not a substitute for approval on the specified substrate.

Quality & Colour

Review and approve the strike-off

A strike-off is produced for the buyer to inspect before bulk production. Review the print against the supplied artwork and reference, including the appearance on the intended fabric. If changes are needed, communicate them clearly so the revised sample can be assessed before sign-off.

Bulk production proceeds against the approved strike-off and confirmed order specification. The sample establishes the agreed visual target; it should not be read as an absolute promise of identical appearance across every piece or fabric variation.

In-house checks through production

Macrofast performs in-house quality checks as part of its production operation. These checks support review of printed work against the approved artwork and order requirements. The particular criteria depend on the order and the buyer’s specification; this page does not imply a fixed instrument-based protocol or undisclosed tolerance.

If the order requires colour, wash, rubbing or other performance testing, state the test method, acceptance criteria and sample basis in the brief. Buyer-requested testing requirements should be agreed before production, including whether the test is to be arranged and how results will be documented.

Make requirements explicit before the run

For a useful quality review, provide the approved artwork, colour references, fabric composition and construction, intended end use, and any buyer quality requirements. Discuss expectations for print placement, appearance and any required tests with the team before approving the strike-off.
