About
Fifty years of textile expertise.
One focused print floor.
Vertically Integrated Digital Printing Factory.
Since 1974
It began with one man and a sample bag.
Mr. Athma Rao entered the textile trade in 1974 as a salesman, learning the industry order by order, floor by floor. That half-century of ground-level knowledge is the foundation Macrofast stands on today.
The company has since grown into a GOTS-certified digital print operation under the next generation — now carried forward by his son, Rajesh Babu — while retaining the same commitment to getting every order right that it was built on.

Why We Moved to Digital
The market changed. We moved first.
As the market shifted, so did the orders — more styles, smaller quantities per style. The traditional route — a new screen for every design — meant more screen-making, more machine time, and rising sampling costs, alongside the delays and pollution conventional printing carries.
We saw where the industry was heading and invested in digital printing technology: faster, cleaner, and built for exactly the short-run, design-led work modern brands demand. That decision became our specialism.
Where We Are Today
Three facilities. Three Signature Tech lines.
Macrofast (Sree Kanaga Durgaa Textile) runs a GOTS-certified digital print operation across three facilities in Tamil Nadu — around 102,000 sq ft in total. A team of 150 people prints up to 5,000 kg of fabric and 25,000 cut panels every day.
The three Signature Tech lines — Hybrid Placement Printing, Digital Pigment AOP, and Digital Reactive AOP — each run by a dedicated manager, cover every digital print requirement from complex placement graphics to full all-over production at scale.
We print for design-led brands across Europe, the USA, and Australia.

Certified, and Proud of It
The documentation serious brands need.
Our GOTS journey began in 2014 for garmenting and extended to digital printing from 2020. Today we hold six certifications — the documentation serious brands need, available on request.

Built Responsibly
Cleaner production was the whole point.
200 kW of on-site solar powers up to 30% of our production. Our digital process saves up to 25 litres of water per metre versus traditional rotary screen printing. Cleaner production was one of the reasons we went digital in the first place — it is not a feature added later.
Our Promise
“The sample you approve is what ships — at scale, on time, and made responsibly.”
